Make the ticker readable and consistent with your site using ticker-wide design settings.
Before you start
Use a ticker containing representative text and links. You need permission to edit tickers. Open TickerPress → Tickers, then Edit the ticker. For public output, the ticker must be published, enabled, and contain enabled content that resolves to at least one item.
Steps
- In Content → Ticker label, enable Show ticker label if wanted. Set Label text, then choose the label icon and shape.
- Open Design → Elements. Set Item separator to Dot, Vertical line, or None. For slider modes, review Show navigation and the Navigation style.
- Under Colors, set Background, Text, Link, Link hover, and Separator color. When the label is enabled, set Label background and Label text colors.
- Under Typography, choose Content font size and, if enabled, Label font size. Under Layout, adjust Minimum height, Border radius, and Item gap.
- Check readability in the preview, including hovered links. Select Update, then check the public page at narrow and wide widths.
Expected result
The saved styling applies throughout this ticker. Other tickers keep their own settings.
Troubleshooting and limits
HTML and WYSIWYG content can retain authored formatting. Headings font size appears only with an enabled Pro Promo component. There is no per-component styling panel or per-ticker custom CSS field. If a label color control is missing, enable the label first. Choose colors with readable contrast and verify keyboard focus on links.
