Place a saved ticker inside a page using the editor you already use.
Before you start
Publish and enable the ticker first. Elementor is needed only for the Elementor method. You need permission to edit tickers. Open TickerPress → Tickers, then Edit the ticker. For public output, the ticker must be published, enabled, and contain enabled content that resolves to at least one item.
Steps
- For a shortcode, use Copy shortcode on the ticker’s dashboard row. Paste the copied shortcode into a WordPress Shortcode block or another shortcode-enabled area. The format is
[tickerpress id="123"]; replace 123 with your ticker’s actual ID. - For a block, insert TickerPress in the block editor. Use Select a ticker to choose the saved ticker.
- For Elementor, add the TickerPress widget and choose the ticker in its Ticker dropdown. Manage ticker content and design in TickerPress; use Elementor for surrounding page layout.
- Save the page and open its public URL. Confirm the intended ticker and links appear.
Expected result
Each placement displays the same saved ticker. Editing that ticker updates its placements when fresh content is served.
Troubleshooting and limits
Page display conditions, schedules, and device targeting do not restrict these manual embeds. Disabled or unpublished tickers still render nowhere. The block editor displays a selection control and frontend-rendering notice, so verify the actual page. Automatic placement can show another copy on the same page. If the ticker is missing from a selector, verify publication and use its shortcode as needed; the selectors retrieve at most 100 tickers.
